PHYSIONORM N.B.P.
The PHYSIONORM N.B.P. stabilometric system (N.B.P. stands for Normalised Balance Platform) consists of a 3-point platform, made according to the normalisation criteria established by the French Society of Posturology, and of a specific software
( NBP Software ).
The N.B.P. platform communicates directly with a normal Personal Computer (PENTIUM® Multimedial), as it is equipped with an internal conversion circuit; therefore no other boards or modules are required.
The signals picked up by the 3 “strain-gage” sensors are directly converted into digital data and sent to the “computer” via a serial RS232 link.
The N.B.P. platform may be provided with or without a computer; it can also operate alongside a normal P.C. with a SuperVGA monitor. The new version offers the possibility to acquire up to 4 EMG sygnals, simultaneously with the balance sygnals. The powerfull software, exploiting the intuitive WINDOWS® interface, transform the p.c. into a polygraphic system.
An eventual auxiliary LCD, supported by the special, adjustable height, motorised column, can be optionally supplied and represent a very usefull accessory. Optionally, can be supplied also a special cage, including wire references for scoliosis evaluation.

In-PROBE VAG-225 Personal (single-patient) vaginal probe. Made of plastic material, alimentary-like quality, anallergic. Transversal ring electrodes in stainless steel. Bipolar cable, length 40 cm with 3.5 mm Jack termination. Suitable for a normal vaginal structure, without problems of patency or depth limitation. In order to give the patient the best comfort, it is better to set the electrodes in correspondence of the anus muscular raising group. PERIPROBE VAG-2ST
PERIPROBE VAG-2ST Cheap disposable internal electrode for the re-education of incontinence through vaginal stimulation of anus raising muscles. Entirely made of plastic material, alimentary-like quality, with 2 gold metalized transversal ring like electrodes, it is particularly light, or EMG Biofeedback.
Suitable for examination table therapy. Its particular shape allows an easy introduction and a confortable retention for the patient. A final protection ring allows to separate completely the part “to dispose” from the reusable one (contact between cable and connector).
The electric connection to the stimulation unit is obtained by interposing a specific adaptor device, which is supplied separately (not single-use), that includes the real metallic contact to the probe and the connection cable plus relevant shunt.

The diagnostics techniques are continuously improved, due to the technological progress and to the medical researches. The diagnostic technique denominated “urodynamics”, consisting in the recording and in the study of all the parameters (volume, pressure, flow) relative to the filling and emptying phases of the miction, has reached today a good degree of reliability. Although it must be considered an invasive diagnostic tool (introduction of catheters in the urethra), it can also be considered an elective and often conclusive examination in the diagnosis of the obstructions or of the anomalies in the vesico-urethral urinary system.

01.03 Therapie and physical medicine 01.03.02 Electro-therapy equipment It is the last born in ECHO’s family and, probably, it is also the most sophisticated, at least in terms of miniaturisation, since it gathers all the functions of ECHO PHYSIOMASTER main unit in a definitely portable case. In fact, we are talking about a portable equipment, a universal, programmable and portable electrotherapical unit. And it is not by chance that ECHO COMPANION is supplied complete of a small suit-case. ECHO Physiomaster ECHO Physiomaster is POWERFUL but SIMPLE in its use since it is aided by a special “software” (esternal program) that, through particular selection “menus”, guides the user in the choice of the most suitable program for each patient or different pathologies. Echo is equipped with ready for use standard programs while others can be stored by the user according to his own experiences. However, it is possible to modify operative parameters whenever the user needs to. 01.03.02.04 Frequency therapy equipment 01.03.02.08 Iontophoresis 01.03.10 Stimulation equipment for diagnostics / therapy 01.03.10.03 Myographs and myofeedback, electromyogramm (EMG) equipment MYOSENSOR is a pre-amplified EMG sensor, suitable for transcutaneous observation of muscular action potentials. MYOSENSOR is characterized by a high sensitivity and immunity to noises. It supplies both the “pure” electromyographical signal and the Mean Rectified Value (MRV). It can be used with any equipment that can supply a stable low-voltage (5-9V) and is provided with special filtering stages (EMG Module). MYOSENSOR detects EMG signals, by picking them up from the cutaneous surface, through special single-use tripolar electrodes. The use of these electrodes allows a fast and easy positioning of the electromyographical head. Otherwise, where the observation points are more distant, it is possible to use 3 pre-gelled unipolar electrodes, that are connected to the sensor through 3 special adapter-cables. 01.03.10.04 Stimulation current diagnosis equipment 01.03.10.05 Stimulators and accessories Further to the Professional and the Rentry models, it is also available an intermediate version: it is the SAMMS® Family, It have 30 protocols in memory, ready to be used, plus 12 custom available programs. This model is also supplied with a rechargeable NiCd battery and the appropriate battery charger. SAMMS® Rentry SAMMS® Rentry, the cheapest model, suitable to occasional or non intensive use; it has no protocols in memory, but up to 12 custom programs can be built and stored, to be quickly used. Other differencies with respect the Pprofessional model are the following: 01.03.11 Electromagnetic wave equipment / Biofeedback systems “BIOFEEDBACK” is a medical technique involving apparatus which displays even small variations in a physiological parameter (e.g. muscular activity, heart rate, cerebral activity, peripheral circulation, emotional state, etc.) to a patient. Thanks to the technique of visualisation, the patient can eventually acquire conscious control over the parameter in question. Biofeedback techniques can be applied in all areas of specialist medicine as an aid to the treatment of pathological conditions caused by the reflex mechanisms of the human organism. Biofeedback is extremely useful in PHYSICAL THERAPY, GYNAECOLOGY, NEUROLOGY, PSYCHIATRY, UROLOGY, GERIATRICS, PNEUMOLOGY, ANGIOLOGY, BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY, and in the treatment of PSYCHOSOMATIC STRESS RELATED SYMPTOMS. The biofeedback is by now become an effective therapeutical approach in REHABILITATION.
